Here is all your information about Sunny Episode 9, including its premiere day, time, and location.
Sunny Season 1 Episode 9 Speculation
Mixxy discovers a second GPS coordinate in “Sunny” Episode 8, and Suzie thinks it might take them to Masa and Zen. In the last seconds of the show, a strange incident confused viewers as she dashed to the scene. It appears that Suzie has connected with Zen, and to her astonishment, Sunny saves her when a Yakuza member threatens her with a gun.
On the other hand, we witness Sunny collapsing into the Earth. However, what might that mean? ‘Sunny’ Episode 9 is expected to feature the following few things:
1) Could Sunny possibly not be the ideal robot?
Sunny appeared to be the most perfect and advanced robot until the Yakuza kidnapped and ruined it. It had acted strangely since it returned, ignoring Suzie and her needs. This is why Suzie thought Sunny would attack her in the ‘Sunny’ Episode 8 finale. However, what abruptly altered for the robot?
The official description for Episode 9 of “Sunny” is, “Sunny looks inside herself.” Might Sunny’s descent into the Earth’s depths indicate it’s time for Sunny to consider its place in Suzie’s life?
Do the robots even have the ability to do that? Anything is conceivable. Masa did a fantastic job of teaching the robot-human behavior patterns. Eventually, the robots began to recognize the pattern and human emotions and adjusted their behavior accordingly.
2) Did Suzie Sakamoton locate Masa and Zen?
Before the odd Earth collapse occurred in “Sunny” Episode 8, it seemed that Suzie had located her son, Zen (Fares Belkheir). The prospect of discovering whether Suzie has truly located her family or if this was all a hallucination has us captivated for the upcoming episode.
Masa and Zen are still alive based on what has happened thus far. Masa probably staged his demise because he was afraid for his life from the Yakuza. To monitor his family while he went into hiding, it also seems that he was the one who put trackers on Suzie, Hiromasa, and Noriko.
3) What is Sakamoto Noriko working on?
Noriko Sakamoto is still incarcerated, as you might remember. In a previous episode, she intentionally set herself up to be accused of shoplifting. It appeared that Noriko was quite happy to be locked up and had no desire to be free when Suzie went to rescue her.
The reason behind her decision to live behind bars is still a mystery. Is this her path to atonement? After his father’s passing, her son retreated into himself and became a prisoner of loneliness for many years.
Finding out about Noriko’s extramarital affair with Hiromasa made him even more unhappy. Noriko most likely wanted to exact revenge on herself for all the suffering her actions caused after Masa’s purported death. Or is Noriko’s life riddled with more mysteries?
Sunny Season 1 Episode 9 Release Date

Sunny Season 1 Episode 8 Recap
In the eighth episode of Sunny, we see young Masa feeling neglected by his parents. Despite trying to connect with his father, he is rejected, even on his father’s death bed.
Masa embraces his loneliness, but Noriko calls Hiromasa for help. Hiromasa is Masa’s biological father, who gave the robot to Suzie. This explains why Masa’s father rejects him before passing away.
Hiromasa gives Masa a bone at Noriko’s urging. He invites Masa to a summer cabin to work on electronics. While there, Masa finds pictures of his mother and Hiromasa and a prototype trash-bot named Sho.
Masa is excited about the bot and has become very interested in electronics. His true motivation is to outsmart Hiromasa and prove that the Trash Bot is far more intelligent than his father ever was. Working on maintaining this bot helps Masa overcome his loneliness.
The problem is that he has developed the Trash-bot to understand Masa better than anyone else could. It turns out that Masa was inspired to become a roboticist as a result. Instead of the other way around, he wanted to help build the bot to assist people in realizing their humanity.
But as he returns to the cabin, his rage returns. After seeing them together, he informs the Bot that Hiromasa and Noriko are both garbage. He is furious that Hiromasa had an affair, and it now appears that Noriko’s husband was also aware of it, which explains why he remained silent.
Let’s fast-forward to a few days prior to the jet arriving late at night. Masa gave Hiromasa the home robot while intoxicated, with the directive to give it to Suzie, as he recounts, distraught and concerned. Looks like he was running from the Yakuza for unknown reasons.
Suzie is trying to figure out the meaning of the colored dots on Sunny’s GPS display. All three of them – Noriko, Hiromasa, and Suzie seem to be on the GPS, except for one stationary marker that leads back to the airport. This marker is from the fateful day when Suzie bid goodbye to Zen and Masa.
Zen’s possible continued existence is hinted at. Sunny reaches the spot first, followed by Suzie. The guard holding Suzie loses consciousness as Sunny approaches, and the ground collapses, causing Sunny to fall.
