Tate McRae and her rapper boyfriend, The Kid Laroi, gave fans an extra special show this week.
During the singer’s “Think Later” tour stop in New York City Thursday night, McRae surprised the sold-audience at Madison Square Garden by bringing her beau out on stage for a PDA-packed duet.
McRae and Laroi, both 21, adorably shared a kiss at one point, with the “So You Think You Can Dance” alum noting that this was their “first time singing together.”
The two sang a sweet rendition of Laroi’s 2020 hit song “Without You” together, exchanging sweet glances at each other throughout the duration of their performance.
“I was fooling around today a bit in soundcheck, and there was someone backstage. Would you guys be OK if I brought someone out to sing a song with?” McRae asked her fans, just moments before Laroi – who released a remix of the song with Miley Cyrus in 2021 – hopped on stage.
The “Stay” singer also gushed over McRae, telling the crowd, “I just want to say, I’m so proud of you. You have so many people in here that love you … I’m one of them!”
McRae pulled out all the stops for the performance – even down to what she was wearing. She rocked a white fishnet top layered over a green bra, which she paired with matching leather Adidas mini-shorts and white boots.
For his part, Laroi opted for an oversized blue button-up shirt along with black oversized pants.
While fans certainly couldn’t get enough of the couple in person at MSG, the chatter continued on social media as soon as clips started making their rounds online.
“KID LAROI AND TATE MCRAE WERE SO F–KING CUTE TONIGHT,” one user wrote via X, with others adding things like “tate and laroi were made for each other” and “Couple goals.”
Following McRae’s MSG show, she and Laroi stepped out for a post-concert date night. The two were spotted walking hand-in-hand in NYC’s NoHo neighborhood.
The dancer-turned-singer turned heads in a bedazzled camisole top, black cargo pants and a jacket featuring hot pink fuzzy sleeves.
Meanwhile, her leading man sported an off-white coat, a simple tank top and denim trousers, accessorizing with black sunglasses and a belt.
The new “It” couple were first romantically linked in January, with Laroi confirming their relationship status during one of his concerts in Dublin, Ireland, in April.
Before they officially announced their romance to the world, the lovebirds were spotted at Fanatics’ 2024 Super Bowl party in Las Vegas on Feb. 1.
However, they arrived separately at the time, seemingly trying to avoid any media attention.
