For those who celebrate Easter, this long weekend was the perfect opportunity to gather with family and loved ones to mark the Christian holiday. Superstar Lady Gaga partook in the spirit too: Fresh off headlining weekend two of Coachella, the singer was spotted having an intimate Sunday brunch at Soho House in Los Angeles, with her mom and fiancé Michael Polansky by her side.

While Easter Sunday typically calls for one to wear their dressiest spring pastels, Gaga marched to the beat of her own drum, wearing her signature edgy, Mother Monster-worthy fashions. (Her punky, all-black outfit could have been worn for her Coachella performance this past Friday—but leave it to Gaga to sport it for a casual brunch instead.)

Gaga paired a boxy leather moto jacket with a pair of black brief-length shorts, styling the look with her go-to shoe: A sky-high pair of platform heels, of course, punctuated with below-the-knee socks. Even her accessories were theatrical—like her spiked Balenciaga dad cap, and futuristic shield shades. Her latest spotting serves as a reminder to embrace individuality and authenticity when it comes to dressing: If the dress code calls for pastels, don’t be shy to do the exact opposite!
