Luigi’s Mansion 3 | $59.99 $41.99 at Target (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Luigi’s Mansion 3 is one of the Switch’s best games. A follow-up to Nintendo’s not-quite-survival-horror series, we once again find the green Mario brother in the one place place he doesn’t want to be – a haunted mansion. It’s a delightful action-adventure game and family-friendly co-op option, too. Deals on the physical cartridge version are sadly hard to come by this Black Friday, but you can get the digital version through Target for $41.99 (opens in new tab).
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga | $59.99 $29.00 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Nine movies in one game. That’s the basic pitch behind Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which takes the familiar Lego game formula of packaging up family-friendly parodies of beloved film series and expands it to its biggest, most impressive extremes. $29.00 at Walmart (opens in new tab) means it’s half price – a heck of a deal for a heck of a lot of video game.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus | $59.99 $47.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
There’s a brand-new pair of Pokemon games just released, but it’s too early for deals on those – if you want to save a few dollars on an open-world creature collecting game, though, it might be time to dig into Pokemon Legend Arceus. This game turns Pokemon into a largely open-ended sandbox, letting you capture the titular creatures in the field as you explore the Pokemon world’s ancient past. $47.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab) is not a massive discount, but Pokemon games rarely see substantial drops in price.
Dead Cells – Action Game of the Year | $34.99 $19.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
This package is for the collectors among you. Dead Cells is often available at a steeper discount as a digital purchase through the Nintendo eShop, but if you want a copy of the excellent Metroidvania-inspired roguelite for your shelf, this 2019 ‘Action Game of the Year’ edition is a fantastic choice for $19.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab). The package also advertises that it includes the Rise of the Giant DLC, but don’t let that sway you – that particular expansion is free.
No Man’s Sky | $59.99 $39.99 at Best Buy (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Can you talk about No Man’s Sky without discussing its dramatic turnaround from a disappointing launch to one of the best-supported indie games on the market? I guess not. The recently launched Nintendo Switch edition gives you a great, portable way to pick up the game with its six years worth of free updates, and the asking price of $39.99 at Best Buy (opens in new tab) is a terrific one.
Bravely Default 2 | $59.99 $35.00 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Forget the borderline-nonsensical title – Bravely Default 2 is an excellent, robust JRPG in the classic Final Fantasy style. Its best gimmick is its class system, which lets you mix and match abilities from multiple different jobs to build some truly broken party combinations. You’ll be getting a whole lot of hours of adventure for $35.00 at Walmart (opens in new tab).
WarioWare: Get It Together! | $49.99 $32.99 at Best Buy (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
WarioWare: Get It Together! does already have an exclamation point in its title, but I promise I’m just as enthusiastic as Nintendo itself about this one. WarioWare is a cult classic going back to the GBA days, challenging you to act fast in a series minigames – or rather, microgames – lasting just a few seconds each. It’s hectic fun, filled with references to Nintendo’s past, and Get It Together expands the formula smartly for co-op play. It’s an excellent addition to your Switch library for $32.99 at Best Buy (opens in new tab).
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild | $59.99 $29.00 at Walmart
If you have a Switch, you need to play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The open-world action-adventure is just as excellent today as it was way back at the system’s launch in 2017. Discounts for Nintendo’s magnum opus are rare, and you won’t find a better deal than $29.00 at Walmart (opens in new tab) for some time.
Super Mario Maker 2 | £49.99 £29.99 at Currys (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Arguably one of the most underrated games on Nintendo Switch, Super Mario Maker 2 can now be acquired for £29.99 (opens in new tab) in the UK. With 100 levels designed by Nintendo itself, players then have a sandbox of tools to play with from Super Mario Bros. to Super Mario World. Its game design made simple while still featuring that Nintendo magic we all love.
US: $59.99 $49.94 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 | $59.99 $29.99 at Best Buy (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
How about owning an unusual bit of history? Yes, the 2020 Olympic Games never happened but that didn’t stop Mario & Sonic from attending. The latest entry in the plumber vs. hedgehog competition is now $30 off at Best Buy. Take away Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 for $29.99 (opens in new tab) now.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope + $10 gift card | $69.99 $59.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
This is a good one. As part of Amazon’s Lightning deals, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope has received a $10 discount alongside a $10 gift card for anyone who purchases the Ubisoft x Nintendo crossover. Only released in October this year, this is the cheapest we’ve seen Sparks of Hope at $59.99 (opens in new tab) – with that extra $10 Amazon gift card complimenting the bundle beautifully.
Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection | $39.99 $14.99 at Best Buy (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Looking for a cheap game? How about three in one? Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection – which compromises Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations – is now only $14.99 (opens in new tab) at Best Buy. A good $25 saving on three decent games that will keep you busy over the holidays.
Nintendo Switch Online 12 Month Membership | £17.99 £12.79 at CDKeys
One for our UK readers here – via CDKeys just now, you can get a lovely 29% off a 12 month membership to Nintendo Switch Online. That brings your annual payment down to just £12.79.
The yearly online subscription is already pretty good value, and is by far the cheapest of “the big three’s” online payments. Saving a fiver will be a nice Black Friday Nintendo Switch bonus though, especially when times are as hard as they are.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury | $59.99 $41.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
One of the best Nintendo Switch games is now 30% off. Combining Super Mario 3D World from the Wii U and the amazing new Bowser’s Fury adventure, which mixes Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario Sunshine into one, this is a game that’s worth your time. And at $41.99 (opens in new tab), it’s only a couple of dollars away from its cheapest price ever.
UK: £49.99 £36.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
NexiGo Switch Wireless Controller | $34.99 $23.27 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Amazon has reduced the price of this NexiGo Switch wireless controller to its lowest ever at $23.27 (opens in new tab). A colorful alternative to the $69.99 Switch Pro controller with back buttons, Bluetooth capability, semi-auto turbo, and four vibration settings. More importantly, it comes with its very own mustache. I mean if that doesn’t sell you on it, nothing will.
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition | $49.95 $19.99 at Amazon
(opens in new tab)
A huge 60% discount on Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition is now live, totaling the game at $19.99 (opens in new tab). That’s the lowest price we’ve seen for this immersive RPG set in a world of digital monsters. Well worth thinking about if you’re after an alternative to Pokemon.
Piplup ornament with all eligible purchases | Free at Pokemon Center (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Too good not to share. Anyone that orders an eligible product from the Pokemon Center website (opens in new tab) in the US will be gifted a free (and might we say adorable) Piplup ornament for hanging on your Christmas tree. It’s only available while supplies last with pre-orders and digital products not included in the offer. No code is required either, just add something like this cute Pikachu holiday sweater (opens in new tab) to your basket and it’s yours!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Collection | $39.99 $24.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Collection is down to $24.99 (opens in new tab) at Amazon now. It’s only $5 off from being the cheapest it’s ever been, so it might be worth waiting to see if it drops further, or just bite the bullet now if you’re interested.
UK: £39.99 £30.23 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Bonadget Joy-Con 4-pack | $58.99 $52.99 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Only a $6 discount? Why bother writing this? Well, the RRP for one pair of Joy-Cons is $79.99, so for $27 less you are actually taking away two pairs of Banadget’s Joy-Cons. That’s a big saving at $52.99 (opens in new tab) for something that does the same job for the most part. If you’re not bothered about the controllers being the official make, this is the way to go.
Super Mario Odyssey | $59.99 $39.00 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Wahooo! We got a big one, people. Super Mario Odyssey is down to $39.00 (opens in new tab) at Walmart. This is a must-play. You might hear that term thrown around a lot but honestly, this is the real deal. It’s one of the best games we’ve ever played and can’t think of a better example of a game that just exudes joy and happiness. This 34% saving is the icing on the cake.
Nintendo Switch OLED + £20 gift card | £309.99 at Argos (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
UK folks! Don’t think we haven’t forgotten about you. Argos has a great deal on a Nintendo Switch OLED that then comes with a £20 gift card for £309.99 (opens in new tab). It’s worth noting that the standard price of a Switch OLED is £309.99, so this is essentially a free £20 to spend on whatever games you please. I recommend Lego Marvel Super Heroes (opens in new tab).
Nintendo Switch (Neon Blue/Neon Red) | $299.99 $267.99 at Woot (Amazon) (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Don’t need a Switch OLED? No problem! Woot is also offering an 11% discount on a new standard Nintendo Switch (Neon Blue/Neon Red) for $267.99. As anyone who has the slightest knowledge of Nintendo will tell you, these price drops don’t come around all too often, so we recommend taking advantage. One console per customer.
ICYMI: Nintendo Switch OLED (White) | $349.99 $319.99 at Woot (Amazon) (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Here we go! A decent discount on a Nintendo Switch OLED at last! They’ve been sparse so far but Woot (an Amazon company) has now put up a new Nintendo Switch OLED (White) for $319.99 (opens in new tab). This is the cheapest we’ve ever seen the model at, so if you’ve been holding off, now is the time to get one. One purchase per customer.
Link’s Awakening | $59.99 $29.00 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening has been given a major discount over at Walmart. You can take home the 2D Zelda for $29.99 (opens in new tab) – that’s more than a $30 saving. Well worth considering if you haven’t played this gem.
Nintendo Switch (Neon Blue / Neon Red) + $35 gift card | $299.99 at Dell (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
This Nintendo Switch bundle from Dell lets you take home the console along with a $35 gift card for $299.99 (opens in new tab). Considering the standard price of a Switch is $299.99 in the US, this is a great incentive and a great excuse to pick up some cheap games. The only question is what game to get? Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Splatoon, the list goes on.
Samus and E.M.M.I. (amiibo) – Metroid Dread | $29.99 $14.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
It’s back again! Earlier this week we were treated to a major saving on this Metroid Dread 2-pack of amiibo. Well, the good news is that after selling out – it’s now back in stock. Take home Samus Aran and E.M.M.I. in figure form for $14.99 (opens in new tab). This is a 50% saving, making for a terrific collectible at a cheap price.
Nintendo Switch OLED (White) + Nintendo Switch Sports | £341.99 £299 at Very (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
One for UK folks. Very is offering a Nintendo Switch OLED (White) with Nintendo Switch Sports for £299 (opens in new tab). That’s a £10 saving on a Switch OLED with a free game thrown in. With golf set to be added to the line-up of tennis, football, bowling, chambara, and badminton, it’s the perfect time to jump in. Ah, takes me back to the days of the Nintendo Wii.
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit | $99.99 $59.99 at Dell (opens in new tab)
Many retailers have run out of the Mario version of Mario Kart Live at this price, however Dell is holding on strong. Yesterday, we were only seeing the Luigi version available (still on the shelves at the same price (opens in new tab)), but you can now score yourself a $40 discount on the full Mario release as well. That means you’ve got another chance to grab the AR karting kit for just $59.99 (opens in new tab) – the lowest price we’ve seen and one we haven’t spotted in a long while.
Sonic Frontiers | $59.99 $29 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
The latest Sonic game is also the latest discount in today’s Black Friday Nintendo Switch deals. If you’ve gotta go fast, then you can get Frontiers for $31 less right now – it’s currently $29 at Walmart (opens in new tab), which is a whole lot better than $60 no matter how you slice it. Considering how new this game is, I’m very impressed to see it take such a steep dive in cost.
Nintendo Switch OLED | $349.99 $319.99 at Woot (opens in new tab)
Quick! This record breaking Nintendo Switch deal at Woot certainly won’t last long – you’re picking up the latest console for just $319.99 right now (opens in new tab), thanks to a full $30 discount. That’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen on the console by itself and one we didn’t expect to witness in this year’s Black Friday deals. Of course, Woot’s flash sales run off the shelves particularly quickly so you’ll need to hurry to take advantage of this.
Mario Party Superstars | $59.99 $29.00 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Walmart is certainly the top contender for Black Friday Switch game deals so far. The latest of which has Mario Party Superstars reduced to $29.00 (opens in new tab). Bringing together 100 minigames and five boards from throughout the series, this is Mario Party at its very best. Anyone for Bumper Balls?

SanDisk 512GB memory card | $99.99 $39.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
This might be one the best Black Friday deals we’ve come across in the US yet. Amazon has reduced the price of a SanDisk 512GB memory card by a huge 60% – meaning you can take home one of these bad boys for only $39.99 (opens in new tab). It’s the lowest price we’ve seen for a long, long time and we imagine these will sell out fast, so take advantage while you can. Ideal for expanding your Nintendo Switch’s memory.

Splatoon 3 | £49.99 £36.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
(opens in new tab)
Jumping to the UK briefly, Splatoon 3 has been cut in price by 26% at Amazon. Available at its lowest cost since the game launched in September this year, you can now paint the town red for just £36.99 (opens in new tab). It’s a great third-person shooter with a single-player campaign full of action platforming and frantic multiplayer that is fun for all ages. The US hasn’t got that many discounts at the minute but we’ll keep looking.
US: $59.99 $52.80 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
Nintendo Switch (Animal Crossing Edition) | $35 Dell gift card | $299.99 at Dell (opens in new tab)

While we’ve seen offers of $75 gift cards in the past, nothing like that has come up yet and if you’re after the adorable Animal Crossing Switch, this is a good option.
Nintendo Switch + Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + 3 months Nintendo Switch Online | $399 $299 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
Let’s get straight to the big guns – this Mario Kart 8 bundle is comfortably the best of today’s Black Friday Nintendo Switch deals. And perhaps of the year, for that matter. Want the console and a game? This is the ultimate combo. At $299 via Walmart (opens in new tab) rather than almost $400, you really can’t go wrong. It only comes out to play during Black Friday though, so is likely to get snapped up fast. Move quickly to avoid disappointment!
The same offer is available in the UK too, where it’s £259.99 at Very (opens in new tab). Exceptional value, this one.
